Dr. Jessica Volciak, PT, DPT, ATC, cert-APHPT, CMTPT/DN is an orthopedic and sports physical therapist located in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University (Pennsylvania) and with her Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Exercise Science from Mount St. Joseph University (Ohio).
Dr. Jessica currently treats a lot of CrossFit, football, powerlifting, general adults, climbing athletes, and more! Jessica has experience working with various high school, collegiate, club, and professional level sports teams and athletes. She has worked with several patients pre and post-surgery as well as those with chronic pain helping them return to activities and sports they love. Experience in various settings include: outpatient hospital-based, private practice/cash-based outpatient, pediatric rehab, pediatric acute care, adult inpatient, emergency room, home health, and skilled nursing facility. Dr. Jessica has gone through extensive training for manual (hands on) techniques, joint mobilizations, functional movement screens, dry needling, cupping, Graston/IASTM, scar tissue mobilization, exercise prescription, pilates, and more. She is always learning and developing her current knowledge on best practices for her patients. Her passion is prevention and population health! She promotes this during her PT treatments, wellness visits, involvements in a PT Health Study (monitoring health data from wearable devices), and projects to assist school boards with excelling physical education programs for students. She's part of a big Italian family and spends her free time with her boyfriend, family, learning, networking, supporting Cincinnati rugby, cooking, trying new activities, horseback riding, CrossFit, climbing, walking her dog (Jura), or exercising. |
Scott Morris, PTA, CF-L1 is a physical therapy assistant who is a father of three! He helps Dr. Jess see local CrossFitters, active teens and adults with their aches, pains, and return to sport. Scott has training in blood flow restriction, manual techniques, and modifications for adaptive athletes on top of his experience as a CrossFit coach. Scott enjoys being with his family and cheering for the Broncos in his free time. |
